Freedom fighters and bed-wetters: the case against baseless covidiocy.
Our country is filled with weak minded media manipulated morons, who now flop to government imposition and support baseless wide-reaching restrictions. What should have been an evidence-based response to a manageable virus has instead been a Kamikaze styled botch job, with one of the few positives being the global leadership incompetence exposé.
The experts, of which there are many with varying ideas, are listened to selectively, with only advice from the most incapable influencing decisions. With anybody having a GCSE in geography now referring to themselves as a ‘scientist’, those bound by their own mediocrity have leaped at the prospect of becoming ‘COVID famous’, desecrating the scientific method in the process. Caution has been thrown out, in favour of confident and over-stated press releases from once well-respected institutions and journals. Studies with conclusions reaching far further than their data supports have been retracted; other studies have been entirely fictitious. But not before influencing Government policy, and our lives.
The days of personal freedoms and individual responsibility are gone. We are currently enduring (or enjoying, if you’re part of the pathetic majority) the third iteration of UHA (Universal House Arrest, the Government’s new gimpification initiative), a policy which has comprehensively failed, since day one. The first was supported by (and I had a small retch when I read this) 93% of the population, the second by 72% and the third by 85%. This tells you everything you need to know about the intelligence of the country.
But these numbers pose an interesting question: if 93% of the British public wanted to get locked up for a year, why did it need to be made the law of the land? It’s such an overwhelming majority, the remaining 7% would likely have little effect. Do people lack such basic self-control that they needed to be told what to do, despite supporting the measures? Or do people enjoy living controlled and dictated lives, absolved of their own personal responsibilities? After-all, if it all goes wrong now, they can blame the Government for not beating them hard enough into submission.
But it’s not that bad, we’re used to it now, right? If you’re a pathetic weasel then maybe so — but I’m certainly not. Want to visit your friend? You’re not allowed, the Government says no. Want to go to the pub? You’re not allowed, the Government says no. Want to go to school? You’re not allowed, the Government says no. Want to go camping? You’re not allowed, the Government says no. Want to see your dying relative in hospital? You’re not allowed, the Government says no. Want to go to your dead relatives funeral? You’re not allowed, the Government says no. Want to get your hair cut? You’re not allowed, the Government says no. Want to go to work? You’re not allowed, the Government says no. If this does not make you physically sick, then there is something wrong with you. Everything that once made life worth living has been taken away from us, without a shred of evidence to support it.
But if there is overwhelming support for these restrictions, then this is just democracy? No dumbass, it isn’t. Consent must be informed. Pretending that lockdown is the only way to control this manageable virus has duped people into blindly supporting the destruction of their own lives. Anybody who so wilfully allows their life to be turned upside down is mentally ill and so lacks the competence necessary to give consent. What about masks? Again, no evidence. If you want to wear a mask, wear your own damn mask. Don’t make me participate in your anti-science virtuous nonsense too.
We have reached the critical mass of stupid. The fools have demonstrated their indulgence for being told what to do, having their civil liberties stolen and for living dictated and controlled lives. Just wait until they tell us paddle spanking ourselves reduces Covid-19 transmission — Clap for our Carers will take on a new meaning.
